We are driven by our passion for brands. We pave the way for our customer’s success. Our founder Professor Dr. Franz-Rudolf Esch is standing for brand management like no one else. For more than 30 years he has been researching brands, strategies, customer behaviour and communication. Around 50 doctorates, which he has supervised as dissertation chairman, and numerous awards for research work speak for themselves.

Going from 0 to 100 with BASF as our first customer.

We owe it to a manager at BASF that we have been around since 2001. The requirement for the assignment to develop the global corporate brand strategy for BASF was the incorporation of a company. Within a few weeks, Prof. Esch & Associates GmbH emerged from the very heart of university research. Due to enormous time pressure, we committed all the mistakes in brand development that we would criticize clients for. We started with a self-made CD, blue and gray at the time, and without defining our own identity. It took two intensive years to develop the brand identity and brand positioning for BASF and implement them with lasting success.
